Facts, not promises

Everyone selling hosting promises a lot — what counts is what is contractually committed, openly explained and verifiable by you. That is exactly what this page holds: an availability guarantee with an agreed consequence, a platform built on KVM and NVMe, the uplink per location and a fair-use rule in plain language.

01

The guarantee: 99.98% — with an agreed consequence

At the centre of this page stands a number with a consequence: we guarantee 99.98% availability, for every package — from the smallest with one core to the largest with 20. If we fall short, the unusable time is credited back to your account; the details of calculation and claiming are set out in the terms in the customer portal. A guarantee with an agreed consequence is fundamentally different from a non-binding target in a marketing chart: you can base your planning on it and hold us to it. The difference lies not in the number but in the commitment: a measured value describes the past, a contractual promise binds us tomorrow as well. That is precisely what it is for.

02

The platform: KVM virtualisation with full access

Every server runs on KVM virtualisation — a complete system with its own kernel, not a container on a shared base. You get full root or administrator access and a KVM console that stays reachable even when the operating system no longer boots. Sixteen configurations span 1 to 20 cores and 1 to 24 GB of DDR4 memory; Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Windows Server and MikroTik RouterOS are available to install, custom ISO images included. Eight of these configurations run in Istanbul, eight in New York — you choose the location when ordering. What the platform delivers is therefore fixed before you order.

03

The storage: NVMe SSD, 20 to 240 GB, a firm commitment

All packages use NVMe SSD storage between 20 and 240 GB — and CPU, memory and storage are fixed per package: you know exactly what you are working with before you order, instead of trusting stretchable wording. Three free snapshots per server preserve the state before updates and rebuilds, so every change has a defined way back. If you want scheduled protection without manual effort, automated backups are available as a paid add-on. The same principle applies here: what is included is named clearly — and so is what costs extra.

04

The network: 25 Gbit in Istanbul, 10 Gbit in New York

We state the uplink per location rather than as a blanket claim: in Istanbul your server sits on a 25 Gbit uplink, in New York on 10 Gbit, and both figures apply to every package at the respective location — from the entry package up. Every server includes one IPv4 and one IPv6 address at no extra cost. A third location in Germany is in preparation — the cabinets are currently being fitted out, and we will announce the launch on this website. Until then you order where the numbers already apply: two locations, two clear figures.

05

Fair use in plain language, not an asterisk

Traffic at HostKontor is not metered — and the rule behind that stands in plain sight: fair use applies, and the port speed must not be saturated continuously. Ordinary web, application and database workloads are unaffected; a time-limited data transfer during a migration is not continuous full load either. We put this boundary wherever traffic is mentioned instead of hiding it in the small print — so you know before ordering what "not metered" means in practice. Because a promise whose conditions you have to search for is not a promise.

06

Hourly billing as evidence of confidence

Alongside the 16 VPS packages at fixed monthly prices stands the cloud server billed by the hour: you top up your balance — by credit card, bank transfer or cryptocurrency — launch any number of servers in one account and resize CPU, RAM and storage up as well as down at any time. You pay only for what actually runs; the current hourly rates are shown in the customer portal. The entry configuration offers 2 vCPU, 4 GB of DDR4 RAM and 80 GB of SSD storage on a 25 Gbit uplink. For load peaks and short tests that means paying for hours, not months. An offer you could leave within the hour has to prove itself every hour — which is exactly why it belongs on this page.

07

The benchmark that counts: your own measurement

We deliberately promise no lab benchmarks — real performance depends on your application, the route and the time of day. Instead we make testing it yourself easy: VPS packages start at EUR 2.00 net per month plus VAT, and provisioning runs automatically after payment, usually completing within a few minutes. All sixteen configurations are listed on this website with CPU, memory, storage and the current net price; on the classic VPS you can move up to a larger package at any time, but not back down. HostKontor is a brand of the US-based White Label Services group, which serves more than 50,000 active customers group-wide. Measure for yourself — with your application, under your conditions.
