This policy describes which personal data is processed when you visit www.hostkontor.de, for which purposes and with which rights. The controller is White Label Services, LLC; contact details are below and in the imprint.
NoticeHow this site is delivered: pages are served through Cloudflare and hosted on a server in the USA. Technically necessary connection data including the IP address is processed for delivery and attack mitigation, which involves a transfer to the USA. This website sets no analytics or marketing cookies and contains no input form.
Data you enter in the customer portal is covered by the privacy notice published there.
When the site is accessed, the delivering systems process technically necessary connection data: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, user agent and status codes. This website sets no analytics or marketing cookies. The journal under /blog/ provides search; search terms are processed to display relevant articles and may form part of the requested URL and server logs.
Connection data is used to deliver the pages, defend against attacks and analyse errors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in secure operation). If you e-mail us, we process your details to handle the enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc. and hosted on systems in the USA, which involves transferring connection data to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses otherwise safeguard the transfer. Data is not shared for advertising purposes.
Connection and security logs are kept only as long as operation, attack mitigation and error analysis require, then deleted or anonymised. E-mail correspondence is stored as long as processing and statutory retention duties require.
Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live.
Data you enter in the customer portal at id.hostkontor.de — account, contract and payment data — is additionally covered by the privacy notice published there. Order-related requests are best made directly through the portal.
The journal runs on WordPress. WordPress uses essential authentication and session cookies for signed-in editorial staff. Language selection may be stored as a preference. Public comments and visitor account registration are disabled. Editorial AI assistance processes selected topics and editorial content on the server; visitor data and search queries are not sent to the AI provider for this purpose.
